Scott is a freelance music journalist - specializing in reviews of CDs and articles related to Montana music, American Indian music, and hard rock/heavy metal.
Scott is known throughout the region as an expert on Montana music and American Indian music. He produced two long-running public radio programs and his writing has been featured in over a dozen publications. He is currently a staff writer for Music Street Journal.
American Indian Music
Scott produced American Indian Music: More Than Just Flutes & Drums, a curriculum guide and compilation CD for Montana's Office of Public Instruction. Check it out HERE! He is currently writing a chapter on Indian rock guitarists for a University of Arizona Press anthology, as well as writing a book on contemporary Indian musicians for the popular market.
